There are many different skilled worker visa categories where skills, language ability and recent work experience are needed in order to meet Australian migration requirements to gain permanent residency in Australia.  

Applications for these visas are usually made at one of the Australian Immigration Department Australian offices which specialize in these visas.

Skilled visa applications can take up to 3 years depending on the visa category and on the caseload of the Embassy visa section or Australian Department of immigration.

Priority is placed on Employer Sponsored visas which are allocated ahead of other visa categories
