Temporary Business or Tourist Visa
These visas are for temporary travel to Australia for pleasure, tourism, and visit with friends or family, medical treatment and/or other activities of a social nature.
Temporary business travel to Australia could be for consulting with business associates, attending a business conference, negotiating a contract or assessing business opportunities in Australia
Applicants must prove genuine business, social and/or family connections to China, a legitimate travel purpose and intent to return at the end of the stay.
Applicants must also be able to prove that they have sufficient funds to meet all normal living expenses during their stay as usually no work is permitted in Australia with temporary business/tourist visitor visas.
This may be demonstrated through either their own funds or by letter of support from Australian residents. The burden of proof is on the applicant.
